STAR [Engineering Design & Consultant - EDC] adalah suatu lembaga design yang berfokus pada desain power plant serta service engineering detail/review, commissioning dan performance test pada proyek-proyek pembangkitan (power plant). STAR juga memberikan training secara private maupun regular yang dapat diaplikasikan di perusahaan Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Palm Oil, Pertambangan, Manufacturing, dan perusahaan yang berhubungan dengan dunia engineering.
 
STAR menjamin training yang diberikan lebih unggul dibanding lembaga training yang lain dimana metode dan teorI yang diberikan jauh lebih komprehensif, selain itu biaya training juga jauh lebih rendah. Mahalnya biaya training engineering saat ini membuat keterbatasan dan kesempatan bagi para fresh graduate maupun pekerja tidak dapat berpartisipasi dalam dunia project engineering terutama power plant dan oil & gas, untuk itu STAR hadir dengan tujuan utama adalah memajukan pemerataan sumber daya manusia INDONESIA.

 

Currently, many power plants are built across Indonesia in particular power plant owned by PLN and private, with the first phase of the 10,000 MW of PLN roomates until 2016 . 1. PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS (PSA) CAESAR II
Training PSA (pipe stress analysis) dengan CAESAR II di PDC sangat berbeda dengan lembaga training lain, sebab di STAR pengetahuan tentang teori stress pipa sangat komprehensif, disertai dengan manual calculation pipe stress dan fleksibilitas pipe maka para siswa setelah lulus dari STAR dijamin dapat bekerja sebagai Piping Stress Analysis. Materi yang diberikan sangat aplikatif dan disertai dengan simulasi piping stress pada suatu project EPC (power plan & oil gas). B.     PIPE STRESS APPLICATION

  • API 610 Theory and manual calculation pipe connected to a centrifugal pump (n-type suction, split casing, vertical, multi-stage etc) based on the code standard API 610. In such a standard pipe stress engineer is required to be able to analyze whether the pipe is connected to pump can work safely when the pump running, pumping experience thermal growth, and shut down and did not result in damage to the pipes and pump nozzles. Above analysis refers to the allowable force and moment on the table API 610.
  • API 650 & ANSI B73.1 :  Theory and manual calculation nozzle pipe connected to the tank by a standard code standard API 650. In such a pipe stress engineer is required to be able to analyze whether the pipe is connected to the tank nozzle can work safely when the setlement and thermal expantion in the tank.
  • NEMA 23 :    Theory pipe connected to the turbine by code standard NEMA 23. In those standards seorong pipe stress engineer is required to be able to analyze whether the pipe is connected to the turbine can work safely when the turbine is running or shut down and do not cause damage to the nozzle ,
  • FLANGE Leakage:  Theory pipe connected to the flange. Analyzing leak (leakage) on the flange when the thermal expantion, operating and shut-down.
  • WRC 103 & 297:  Theory pipe connected to the nozzle and tank based WRC 103 and 297. A pipe stress engineer is required to be able to analyze whether the pipe connected to the vessel and tank nozzle can work safely in the event of thermal expantion in the pressure vessel.

 C.     PSA CAESAR II

MSDE: STATIC MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Sudah menjadi dambaan bagi seorang sarjana teknik kususnya teknik mesin dapat bekerja sebagai seorang mechanical design engineer,  training MSDE (Mechanical Static Design Engineer) di STAR  menawarkan suatu kurikulum yang sangat berbeda dengan lembaga training lainnya, sebab di STAR  seorang bukan dibimbing menjadi mechanical engineer yang hanya mampu mereview suatu design akan tetapi mampu mendesign suatu produk mechanical. 4. MPPE : MECHANICAL POWER PLANT ENGINEER

STAR menawarkan suatu training MPPE (Mechanical Power Plant Engineer) yang merupakan satu-satunya traninig yang ada di Indonesia. MPPE berfokus pada training dalam bidang mechanical project EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) suatu pembangkit listrik, dimana siswa akan dibimbing untuk menjadi engineer siap pakai pada suatu project EPC. Materi MPPE sangat aplikatif pada suatu project EPC PLTU (pembangkit listrik tenaga uap), materi dibatasi sebatas mendesain, mereview dan menganalisa plant secara keseluruhan bukan mendesain detail suatu equipment mechanical (seperti : tank, vessel, turbine, pompa, compressor, cooling tower, heat exchanger dll) mengingat scope pekerjaan mechanical sangat luas dan sebagaian besar equipment2 mechanical tersebut sudah merupakan scope vendor. Para siswa dituntut untuk dapat menganalisa thermal system dalam suatu project PLTU menentukan size equipment mechanical PLTU berupa kapasitas / power thermal untuk boiler, turbine, auxialiary boiler & turbine, Pump, WTP (termasuk demin tank, fresh tank dll), Coal Handling, Intake System, Ash Handling, Cooling System, compressor system dll. Dalam pembuatan tugas akhir para siswa akan dituntun membuat laporan desain kalkulasi sesuai dengan project2  di PLN dan oil gas company.

    7. CIVIL DESIGN : Staad Pro & Afes

    Civil Design merupakan pondasi utama suatu infrastruktur plant station (power plant, oil& gas, petrochemical, factory, high rise building etc). STAR menawarkan suatu training yang sangat komprehensif dan berfokus pada design suatu struktur static power plant, materi yang disajikan sangat aplikatif pada project2 PLTU, PLTG, PLTGU etc, dimana siswa akan diberikan dasar dan filosofi terkait desain dan dibimbing untuk dapat mendesain suatu struktur dengan menggunakan Staad Pro dan Afes. Materi Civil Design meliputi :

    • Pemodelan struktur dengan menentukan parameter desain (steel structure & concrete structure).
    • Analisa pembebanan pada structure berupa pembebanan equipment mechanical dan electrical, etc.

    C. TUGAH AKHIR
    Para siswa diberikan tugas akhir berupa simulasi kombinasi steel structure dan concrete pada suatu structure di power plant dan/atau oil & gas plant. dalam pembuatan tugas akhir para siswa akan dituntun membuat laporan desain kalkulasi sesuai dengan project2  di PLN dan oil gas company.
